Via Pursuant, Blakely put $26 million and two scholarships through pursuant sports, Robin Blakely said on the Palin Update with Kevin Scholla. He is a father with four children; his father was a coach. Blakely said coaches are a lot like fathers and his father taught him how to be a man. He said family is more important than work, and his greatest passion is being a father.

We noticed among many of his clients when a father abandoned them or passed away early there was a deep wound that affected these men's abilities to do basic things in life, be accountable or treat women properly.

Blakely's father was an accomplished D1 coach, and still managed to be a great father. As a coach, he treated all of his athletes like adopted sons. Blakely's father was an adamant disciplinarian, but he was also very compassionate. He had players at the house all the time for various holidays because they needed a place to stay at and wasn't afraid to give his children a hug.

Blakely's tips for fatherhood include: spending time together with your children, praying together, putting up a basketball hoop and creating an environment where they'll want to spend time at your house. He also recommends giving children nicknames and taking them out camping, and letting their friends sleep over. Everyone always wanted to come to the Blakely house and Blakeley knew who his son's friends were.

He said a father should "always try to model for his children" how to treat the woman who might become their wife. Though his wife prepared the dinners, the children were expected to clean up after the meal, and they were not to sit until his wife sat. Talking back to her was never permitted; even though he loves his children, his wife always came first and he would tell his children, "you're not just talking to your mother - you're talking to my wife, and you're not going to talk to her that way."

Blakely would pray over his children, and said that there is too much passivity among fathers today. Fathers need to take a more active role in modeling their children's lives, he concluded.

None of us were shocked that the NSA was gathering data on all of our phone calls, Sarah Steelman said as she opened her weekly Steel Resolve segment. She said American citizens are know the importance of classified information to protecting our national security, but do not trust the government which has already abused the information it's been gathering. Intelligence agencies are not using their intelligence intelligently, and Steelman cited as her case in point: the Boston bombers. While these agency spied on us, they could not find known terrorists in our midst that the Russians had warned about.

NEW YORK, NY - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today visited an RV in a brief outdoor segment at the close of today's Fox & Friends segment, which was her premiere show since re-joining the network. She greeted two Alaskans, one from her hometown of Wasilla and the other from Skagway. Gov. Palin greeted me at the 59-second mark in the video. After she toured the RV, Gov. Palin returned to the studio to broadcast an internet after-show.

I was on location at former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's speech to the Faith and Freedom Coalition. It was alive. Everyone there was enthusiastic. I felt it was alive, because she's real, a breath of fresh air, and doesn't talk like a politician. People are tired of hearing soundbites from a politician. I'm listening to someone who knows how to be a leader compared to these RINO's and liberals in Congress. She's the harshest critic out there towards Barack Hussein Obama's Presidency compared to everyone else. Ted Cruz comes second to her.

I liked very much when Gov. Palin said the United States shouldn't get involved in the conflicts going on in the Middle East because we do not have a real Commander in Chief. I thought it was great that she called out Obama on all of his administration's scandals. I loved that she left no stone unturned compared to the RINO's and Liberals. I think Gov. Palin is the kind of person the general public wants.

Congressmen Gosar (AZ-04), Salmon (AZ-05), Schweikert (AZ-06) and Franks (AZ-08) are hosting a Congressional Field Hearing in Prescott, Arizona, on July 1st to discuss the IRS and other abuse scandals and hear directly from their constituents about their concerns with this out-of-control federal government. This is a PERFECT way to kick-off the Fourth of July week and usher in Independence Day!

We need more members of Congress to engage We the People in town hall style meetings to discuss all the government abuse scandals just as they did in 2009 and 2010 with Obamacare. Those Obamacare town halls became a hallmark of the Tea Party movement, and we need that same energy now more than ever. Let the people come together and speak up. Now is the time.

In a Pew poll taken last January, 53% of Americans believed the federal government is a threat to their own personal rights and freedom. Imagine what that percentage would be now that we know more about all of these abuse scandals? A majority of Americans now feel that their government is a threat to their liberty -- not just bloated, incompetent, and bankrupt, but an actual threat to their liberty.

I look forward to addressing this justified distrust of our out-of-control Big Brother government at the "Road to Majority" conference in D.C. this Saturday.
